David in Denmark November 2-6 was a huge success!
Fans i Danmark have immediately begun to plan David in Denmark 2009.
The following major events were organized in 2008: - CHURCH CONCERT, November 3, in Skelgårdskirken had 100 participants and TV coverage.
- A press event at Café Retro November 4 was attended by TV and a journalist (click HERE).
- CONCERT to support Hjernetumor.dk, November 5, Nathanaels Church was a great conclusion of David's tour for IBTA. Patricia talked about the condition of her husband, Thomas Lind Mainz, creator of http://www.hjernetumor.dk/ after a succesful brain tumor surgery. After taxes the full support from tickets to a brain tumor network amounts to 3050 Danish kroner.
The concert November 5 marked the final event of the second International Brain Tumor Awareness Week (cf http://www.theibta.org/). David has been the lead artist for this event since its start and his song KEEP ON WALKING promotes the brain tumor week world-wide (cf also the version produced by Thomas Lind Mainz HERE)
PRESSEDÆKNINGPRESS COVERAGE - The Danish Cancer Society issued a newsmail on the day (read it HERE)

David now has fans i Danmark - and is himself a fan of Denmark: just listen HERE or http://e.dbi.edu/file.php/15/NWNDownload/DavidInDenmark-Version1.0/DavidInDenmark-Version1.0.html - Login as gæst. It is unfortunately recorded on a very bad Web-cam and in a lousy sound, but it is the only record there is of David's love for Denmark from his last IBTA concert!
He has also shared his admiration in his latest fan mail (david m bailey [mailto:dmb@davidmbailey.com], 8. november 2008 12:49. Topic: 3 Countries, 3 songs:
hello I'm home! It's gonna take me awhile to properly write up the trip in a real road report- so much happened!. It was truly amazing - until then, I thought I"d share the 3 new songs that were born in the 3 countries I visited. Hope you enjoy :-) .....
3 - KØBENHAVN - I've waited a long time to come here
- Truth is, I did no know what to expect
- But all of the time I have spent here
- Is time I never will forget
- Denmark, I have fallen in love with you
- With your buildings and your fountains and your streets
- Your coffee shops, your gardens and canals
- But most of all you people
- You have been so very sweet
- You'c been loving you've been loving, you've been patient you've been friendly you've been kind
- People like this ARE often hard to find
- And now I must tell you I can't wait til I return
- Til then I'll carry you with me
- And in my heart, your love will always burn
